We offer many photographic services to suit your needs. Along with our on location and studio photo sessions we also offer photo restoration and printing services to preserve those special memories.
We work hand in hand with our clients to give them the quality they deserve. All editing work is approved before printing. If you require photo restoration and/or specialty printing services, please contact us for further information.
Most of our portrait sessions are done on location at a local park, we will consider any location you may have in mind, although we do make the final decision on any location. Many of our sessions, including Boudoir are done in our studio for your privacy, especially during inclement weather. See below for Boudoir pricing.
Gift certificates are now available at Alexa Studios. There is a $0.75 cent surcharge on all gift certificates. There are NO refunds on the certificates, they may only be exchanged for any photographic service we offer. All certificates are good for one year from the date of purchase and sessions are by appointment only.
Sale prices or discounted specials are only good during the duration said.
After your purchase you will receive an email with a certificate attached for printing, which you will receive within 24 hours of your purchase. If you do not have a printer, please email us after your purchase is made, we will be happy to mail the cetificate to your home or business or you may pick it up at our studio.
What is a Portrait? A portrait is any posed image, which includes people or pets but excludes Boudoir. Boudoir sessions are more involved at the editing stage. All of our pricing includes average editing. Commercial or product shoots are in their own category and do not fall under a Portrait session, see below.
Examples of portraits: Head shots, model shoots, seniors, elderly, families, pets, babies, children, on location or in a studio.
Our sitting fee for portrait work is $125.00 for up to one and one half hours of shoot time, $50.00 for each additional hour, rounded to the nearest 1/4 hour.
This session fee includes post processing and minor editing, such as blemish removal and skin smoothing if needed. Major editing may incur an additional fee. If major editing is needed per customer request, a price will be quoted after all images are inspected, usually a few days after the initial shoot.
Proofs will be ready within 1 week, if major editing is done, proofing may take a bit longer.
A web ready CD with all proofed, watermarked images is included for FREE. These images may be shared on any public web site, such as Facebook or sent via email to friends and family. These are copyrighted by Alexa Studios and watermarks MUST not be removed and no editing is allowed to any of our images. Receiving a free CD of your proofed images is a token of our appreciation for your business.
This fee is payable on the day of the shoot. There is no refund on any session fee after the shoot takes place.
We have 3 pricing structures for our Boudoir shoots, as follows:
1. $150.00 - Each session includes one FREE 8 x 10, your choice, Each session runs up to one and one half hours of shoot time $50.00 per each additional hour, rounded to the nearest 1/4 hour.
This session fee includes post processing and minor editing, such as blemish removal and skin smoothing. Back grounds may also be changed if necessary, at our discretion. Major editing may incur an additional fee. Any requested editing (unless we missed something) may also incur an additional fee. A price is quoted after all images are inspected, usually a few days after the initial shoot, but only if needed.
2. $175.00 - same as #1 but it also includes any necessary nip and tuck. If the nip and tuck are very minor, it still may fall under #1.
3. $225.00 - same as #1 and #2 combined, but also includes weight loss. Losing weight via Photo shop is a very time consuming process, turn around time for proofing is between 2 and 3 weeks in most cases. Minor weight loss may fall under #2.
Proofs will be ready within 2 weeks, if major editing is done, proofing may take a bit longer.
A consultation appointment is necessary for most Boudoir shoots.  This will allow us to discuss which tier would be necessary for a successful shoot. Everyone sees themselves differently and has a vision of what they would like to look like, we would love to share that vision with you and make your dream come true.
If you have a recent photo of yourself, preferably in a bathing suit, the consultation may not be necessary.
There is no charge for a consultation appointment.
DEPOSIT: A deposit is required if you book an appointment more then 2 weeks in advance. This is a non-refundable fee, however, the appointment may be rescheduled if necessary, at which time the deposit will carry onto the new appointment date.
We respect the privacy of our Boudoir customers and do not show Boudoir samples online, if you are interested in a Boudoir shoot, we would be happy to show you some samples during your consultation appointment. Any and all session fees are payable on the day of the shoot. There is no refund on any session fee after the shoot takes place.
Our set up fee for commercial work starts at $175.00 for the first hour, $75 for each additional hour. Additional pricing for travel time may be necessary. Our commercial fees include travel time for local shoots only.
This fee is payable on the day of the shoot. There is no refund on any session fee.
We no longer offer packages to our clients. Since we do our own printing we pass that savings onto you. This way all of our clients are able to order exactly what they want. After you leave Alexa Studios, there will be enough money left to take the kids out for ice cream.
Our standard printing paper is a semi-gloss paper with a very slight texture. We have found this to be the absolute best for portrait type images and will last over 100 years. Gloss paper is available on request at no additional cost but must be specified when ordering. Fine Art paper is also available but a bit more expensive.
We have many types of specialty printing available. If you do not see your favorite listed below please ask.

CD's
Web ready images, with our copyright on the image, is available for sharing with family or friends via email. $25.00 (Please see our Holiday special above, for a short time only we are offering this CD free)
Some clients may choose to purchase a full copyright image from their session, this releases Alexa Studios from using said image in any way. Cost per copyright image starts at $125.00. Once the copyright is purchased, all copies will be deleted from our computers and the client may do whatever they wish with their image, they would now own full copyright. We do not sell limited copyrights. (Please see our Holiday special above, for a short time only we are offering a limited copyright for printing only at a reduced rate)
